World Islamic Banking Conference 2nd – 4th December 2019
4th December 2019, Bahrain - DDCAP was a proud sponsor of the 2019 World Islamic Banking Conference in Bahrain. The event was well attended and featured many speakers who were leaders in their fields providing their observations on current market challenges and future trends. Interesting discussions included harmonisation of Global Islamic Finance and also the importance of fintech within the Islamic finance industry, with a particular focus on the new trends evolving out of fintech and the impact this is having on the market. The conference also included discussions relating to the increasing importance of sustainable finance and corporate social responsibility.
