**22nd March 2019, Brussels, Belgium** - DDCAP Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Lawrence Oliver, was delighted to participate at the Responsible Finance Roundtable held in Brussels on 22nd March 2019.

The roundtable focused upon Islamic finance, responsible and social impact finance, and brought together a panel of market practitioners to discuss innovative approaches by financial institutions and businesses to rebuild trust between the financial markets and society. Mr. Oliver gave an overview of the CDIT Initiative which was launched on 20th September 2018 with the aim of improving transparency and accountability in the responsible finance industry and detailed DDCAP’s interest in the initiative. Mr. Oliver also participated in a session entitled “Innovation in Responsible Finance” and highlighted examples of recent successful responsible and social impact finance initiatives.
